What is the ratio of caregivers to residents?
Our staffing ratio is variable depending on the number of residents we have residing with us at any given time. We often adjust based on the needs of our residents, also.
What type of training do caregivers complete?
All staff training is administered as required by the Agency For Health Care Administration, AHCA, and includes continuing education, such as Alzheimer’s Disease training. In addition, all employees are required to pass a Level 2 background check screening.
What type of activities do you offer?
We offer a daily schedule which consists of varied activities such as arts and crafts, trivia, exercises to name a few.
Do you offer hospice and end of life care?

How is level of care determined?
Upon move-in, our nurse and care team will assess your current health and review your medical history to see how we can best meet your needs.

What are typical services provided?
The apartment base rate includes emergency response system located in each bathroom, three well-balanced meals a day, snacks, daily activities, daily room service, weekly housekeeping and linen services, weekly laundry services, paid utilities, maintenance services and medication management.
Do you allow pets?
Pets are welcome and we do have a specific pet policy that must be adhered to.
Do you offer respite care/stays?
Yes, we do. Short term stays are welcome We require a minimum of a 30-day stay for our respite care services.
Are staff onsite 24-7?
Yes, our caregivers are on duty 24-7 to assist our residents with their daily needs.
What is the medication management program?
Assistance with medication administration is done by certified medication aides.
Do you have nurses on staff?
We have a nurse either in the community or on-call 24-hours a day.
Do you have transportation to doctor’s appointments?
We provide scheduled transportation for our residents who need a ride to a doctor’s appointment within a 10-mile radius every Tuesday and Thursday
What financial options are available?
We are a private pay community. Please contact your senior financial advisor regarding VA “Aid and Attendance” Veteran’s benefits and long-term care insurance options.
What is the average age of residents in assisted living?
While age varies, in general, our residents are in their mid-80’s.
How does the dining program work?
Three well balanced meals a day, prepared by our in-house chef, are served restaurant-style. In addition to the entrees featured, we also offer an “always available” deli-style menu. These FAQ's will hep you to get all the important details.
Is there a restriction on visiting hours?
Visiting hours are 8am – 8pm, 7 days a week.
